Accounting Clerk (Temp-to-Hire)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing manufacturing organization. This role offers a blend of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and account reconciliation responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and collaborating across departments to support accurate financial operations.

What You'll Do

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and submit customer invoices while maintaining accurate records
• Monitor customer accounts and support collection activities
• Reconcile vendor accounts, statements, and banking transactions
• Process ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with financial reporting
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues
• Support month-end activities and process improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems
• Knowledge of vendor payments, collections, and reconciliations
• Experience with ACH transactions, wire transfers, and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of purchase order and invoice matching processes
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
